Use of Splatter Gun to Control Lantana
For those involved lantana control, there is now a very useful and concise brochure available at the Australian Government "Weeds of National Significance" site.  See link below.  The brochure covers many aspects of the use of the splatter gun technique to control lantana including pro's and cons, timing, follow-up treatment options, how to use it, herbicide rates and links to further information.  The technique was recently demonstrated at a very well attended field day at Sherwood Nature reserve near Woolgoolga.  The field day was organised by DECCW and was part of a North Coast Weeds Advisory Committee project partly funded by NRCMA.   http://www.weeds.org.au/WoNS/lantana/docs/65_Splatter_gun4.pdf
